Quote.global ("we," "us") helps people plan a move and ask for moving and insurance quotes. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Things you type into our forms. For moving quotes: your name, email, phone number, move dates, origin and destination, and home size. For insurance quotes: the details the quote form asks for, which can include household and income ranges.

Home inventory photos or video. If you use the video walkthrough, we process the images to list your items and estimate their volume.

Account details. If you create an account, we store your email address and sign-in details.

Basic technical data. Like most websites, our servers record your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and when. We also keep simple page-view counts to see which pages are useful.

How we use it

To show you cost estimates, to send your request to the companies you agree to be matched with, to send you messages about your request, to keep the site secure, to fix problems, and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Companies you choose. When you tick the consent box on a quote form, we share your details with up to 3 matched moving companies or licensed insurance agents. They may then call, text or email you as described next to that box.

Service providers. We use outside services to run the site: hosting and database, email delivery (Resend), text messages (Twilio), and AI processing of inventory photos and form text (through Lovable's AI gateway, using Google Gemini models). They process data for us under their own terms.

Legal reasons. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect people from fraud or harm.

We do not sell your information for money. California residents can use our Do Not Sell or Share My Info form at any time.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and for our records, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your choices

You can opt out of contact from matched companies, ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the opt-out form or the contact page. Matched companies that already received your details keep their own records, so contact them directly too.

Children

Quote.global is for adults planning a move. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
